Climate
Parma's climate is influenced by its location between the Po Valley
plain and the Apennine mountain range. Consequently, the city is fortunate
in avoiding extremely high temperatures and humidity during the summer,
when it is visited by many tourists. Parma is sheltered to a certain
extent from severe winter weather found in some regions in the north
